Certified Dog Walker Hertford
As a CPD Certified Pet Sitter & Dog Walker, I offer a flexible dog walking service for individual & group walks. Our walks are tailored to your dog’s needs, ensuring they get plenty of exercise & attention in a safe environment. I’m fully insured & qualified in First Aid for Puppies and Dogs and the safety and wellbeing of your dog is always our first priority.
Happy dogs, healthy hearts, muddy paws — that’s what we’re all about!
As a local resident in Hertford for many years, I can collect and drop off your dog from either your home or work place in a secure, fully insured vehicle. Hertford & Ware offer some beautiful locations for dog walking including Hartham Common, The Kings Mead, Panshanger Park and Post Wood.
Whether it’s a quick lunchtime stroll or a full adventure through Hertford’s parks and countryside, I’ll make sure your dog gets the exercise and care they need.
A walk through Post Wood in Ware
Post Wood is a beautiful and safe Woodland Walk just outside Hertford. As you can see in our video with “Lily”, it’s a particular favourite of ours, being extremely dog friendly with plenty of places to run and explore. With the wood being completely fenced in, your dog can enjoy the freedom of the woods safely in our care, without straying too far.
Whatever the time of year, coming to Post Wood is always a treat for us and the dogs in our charge. And we are always happy to take and share photos & videos of your pooch at play!
Why regular exercise is important for your dog
Physical Health & Weight Management. Just like us, dogs need regular exercise to stay fit & healthy. Daily dog walks help to maintain a healthy weight, strengthen muscles and joints and reduce the risk of poor health and illness. Without enough exercise, dogs can become overweight, which puts stress on their heart, joints, and overall well-being.
Behaviour & Socialisation. A well-exercised dog is usually a well-behaved dog. Regular walks help release built-up energy that might otherwise turn into frustration or anxiety. With our dog walking routines we always encourage and practice good leash manners. We encourage our dogs to socialise safely with other dogs and people which helps to build confidence.
Let’s arrange a meeting
I’d be happy to arrange an initial meet with you and your dog to discuss your needs. It’s important for me to form that bond and trust with your dog, giving you complete confidence.
